ESAB LAF DC Power Sources + Subarc Beam Travel Carriage
- Three-phase, fan-cooled DC welding power sources designed for high productivity automated submerged arc welding (SAW) or high productivity gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
- Used in combination with ESAB’sA6 with ESAB PEH controls mounted onto beam with ESAB LAF 635/1000/1250 subarc power source other bigger power sources in stock if required
- Good arc stability at both high and low arc voltages.
- Adjust and monitor the welding parameters on the power source from the front panel of the process controller (PEH or PEI).
- Welding current range can be extended by connecting two power sources in parallel for the most demanding jobs.
- For longitudinal welding or welding of circumferential workpieces can be sold with out beam and used for a column and boom
- Place the carriage on either a standard I-beam or specially machined I-beam (contact ESAB for details) Fast and easy pre-programming of travel motion and welding parameters using the A2-A6
- 3000 mm to underside of beam, working width 4900 mm ,overall height 4200 mm
- Please Note: The steel work is no longer available
- Welding positioners or rotators also available if required

All used machines are serviced/refurbished to order, and lead times are dependant on current workload and machine type. The below can be used as a guide only, and is subject to change. If you have a deadline you need the equipment by, please contact us prior to ordering. We will always do what we can to try and work with your timescales where possible.
- “As Is” machines: 2-3 working days.
- “Serviced” machines: 7 working days.
- “Refurbished” machines: 2-3 weeks.
- “New” machines: subject to stock and supplier lead times where applicable.
